On the morning of Wednesday, August 4, the entire population continues to be vaccinated with the Abdala vaccine in the Pedro Betancourt municipality. The territory has 27 vaccination sites. In the Pedro Betancourt area that includes Pedroso - Socorro, Camilo 1, Camilo 2, San Miguel de Azopardo; It will be in the medical offices and in the town of Navajas at the Salvador Ibáñez primary school. In the Bolondrón area, 10 vaccinations were set up distributed in schools, clinics, among others.

The vaccination sites have refrigeration equipment and other basic supplies such as thermos, flasks, modeling, syringes; in addition to the healthcare team to carry out the vaccination. With previous training, a nurse, a doctor, stomatology staff, medical students, researchers and factors from the political and mass organizations that provide their support in the process are at the vaccination sites. The population will be previously cited by zones or CDR, since it will include all people over 19 years of age. Vaccination will be staggered (10 patients every hour and no more than 120 a day), which will make it possible to comply with hygienic sanitary measures.

On this occasion, all pregnant women over 15 years of age, women in the puerperium and lactation stages will be vaccinated. Abdala's vaccination schedule includes three doses per patient: 0-14-28 days. Now more than ever the population must take extreme measures to avoid contagion and end the vaccination scheme. The municipality continues with high transmission rates, so without everyone's collaboration it will not be possible to win this battle.
