Details of the upcoming health intervention in the rest of the Matanzas municipalities, includes: Jaguey Grande, Perico, Pedro Betancourt, Unión de Reyes, Calimete, Martí and Jovellanos
Starting next Thursday, July 29, these municipalities will begin vaccinating the entire population, as announced by Doctor José Ángel Portal Miranda, head of MINSAP, in a recent visit to the Matanzas territory headed by Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz.
It insists on not neglecting the consolidated systems to reduce the number of contagion. The health intervention will begin in the population over 19 years of age, likewise it will proceed with all pregnant women in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of gestation as well as in breastfeeding women.
Regarding the population under 19 years of age, it is expected that, according to the progress of clinical studies, starting in September the country can begin, which will be made public when the necessary elements are available. This great challenge demands care, dedication and commitment, in such a way that the Matanzas population can be immunized with the success that the task requires and this is the second province in the country to conclude the health intervention.
