Professionals, coaches and sports glories of the municipality enjoy the interesting postgraduate course in Sports History in Pedro Betancourt taught by Julián Álvarez López, Historian of the territory and professor at the Municipal University Branch. This contributes to raising the general culture of the participants and strengthening the teaching of History in our town.

This activity is framed in the dissimilar initiatives that are carried out in the framework of the commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the Victory of Playa Girón, the 8th Party Congress and the 62nd anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
