The scholarship award of the Union of Cuban Historians UNHIC 2020 of the province of Matanzas is awarded to the young Yaisel Peñate Vergara specialist in Research from the Municipal Museum "Gustavo González Pérez".

Juana Ortiz Ricardo, President of the UNHIC of the province of Matanzas, accompanied by colleagues from the provincial Executive, explained the importance of this award for the young researcher Yaisel, the honor that this distinction represents for the Betancure historians and the confidence in continuing to reap success both in research in the quality of teaching and in the knowledge of this social science.

The members of the team that investigated and digitized the first part of the local history also received well-deserved encouragement.
